Brad Dennison, vice president of news operations of GateHouse Media Inc., was elected Thursday to the Associated Press Managing Editors Association governing board at the group’s annual convention in Las Vegas.


 


Brad Dennison, vice president of news operations of GateHouse Media Inc., was elected Thursday to the Associated Press Managing Editors Association governing board at the group’s annual convention in Las Vegas.

Dennison was elected to a two-year term, and he joins Jon Broadbooks, editor of the State Journal-Register, a GateHouse publication in Springfield, Ill., on the board. Broadbooks is in the second year of a three-year term.

Also at the convention, Bobbie Jo Buel, executive editor of the Arizona Daily Star in Tucson, was elected president of APME. Buel succeeds David Ledford, executive editor of The News Journal in Wilmington, Del.
