Chillicothe Junior High eighth grade student Seth Crull ran at Maxwell Park on Saturday at the 2A State cross country meet.

“He did an amazing job,” coach Laura Sutherland said.

Crull ran with 206 kids and got 69th out of all after an 11:38 performance. He was 17th out of the 35 individual runners.

“He looked strong and had a good run,” Sutherland said.

“Seth is the kind of runner coaches dream of. He is a smart runner and he goes for time. He pays attention to the other runners and knows when to make a move.”

“Seth has had a great eighth-grade season this year. He has come in first in almost all his races and has been a great role model for the team. He is a great athlete and will be a great asset to IVC sports,” Sutherland said.
