The Chillicothe Blue Devils won the National Softball Association 18-under 1A State championship in the tournament held in East Peoria June 27-29.

The Blue Devils were 6-0 in the weekend and had wins against the Mattoon Pride, Downers Grove Outlaws, Central Illinois Diamands, Elk Grove Heat and the Metamora Flames.

The Blue Devils defeated the Metamora Flames in the championship game.
