Soccer finishes regular season

The IVC varsity girls soccer team fell in two matches to Bloomington Central Catholic and Dunlap in its last regular season games.

Against BCC May 5, the Lady Grey Ghosts fell 4-1.

Sarah Dismang put the first goal in of the game with an assist by Jen Gonzalez but the Saints responded with three in the first half.

IVC was held in scoring in the second but the defense was able to allow only one goal.

Linzee Fennell was in the net and finished with one save. 

The Lady Grey Ghosts were outshot 4-2 on goal.

Dunlap 8, IVC 0

The Lady Grey Ghosts fell to Dunlap in a home match Thursday, 8-0.

The Eagles put their first five goals in the net in the first half and had another three in the third.

Dunlap’s defense held IVC to zero shots on goal while having 15 of its own.

Fennell was in goal for the 80 minutes and had seven saves.

Results from the first regional game against Canton Tuesday were not available before press deadline.
