This Christmas season, Major League Baseball players from the Central Illinois area will be giving children a chance to play alongside them at the third Play with the Pros Baseball Clinic at the Avanti’s Dome in Pekin, sponsored by the Peoria Christian Center.

The event is scheduled for Dec. 23 with the first session being from 8 a.m. to noon for 8-10 year olds and the second session lasting from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. for 11-14 year olds.

There will be 48 spots available in each age group and registrations are first come, first serve and will only be accepted at the Christian Center, located at 4100 North Brandywine Drive.

No registrations will be taken over the phone.
