Illinois Valley Central graduate Zach McAllister almost garnered his first win for the Cleveland Indians when they took on the Chicago White Sox at home Tuesday.

McAllister started the second game of the doubleheader and pitched 5.1 innings, giving up two earned runs with four strikeouts and only one walk.

The Indians were winning, 4-2, when McAllister left the game but the Cleveland bullpen gave up three runs as the Sox came back to win, 5-4.
