Anniversary: Habgood 50th anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Habgood of Bedford, Texas, celebrated their 50th anniversary on Aug. 29.

Mr. Habgood and the former Cinda Appel were married Aug. 29, 1964, at the First United Methodist Church in Chillicothe. The Rev. Albert E. Habgood, father of the groom, performed the ceremony and the Rev. William Jones assisted.

In honor of their 50th anniversary, they are cruising the eastern Carribean.

They are the parents of two children, Christopher (Fanny) Habgood of Austin, Texas, and Shannon (Matthew) Habgood Morton of College Station, Texas. They also have three grandchildren.
