Jay Goldberg Events and Entertainment has used the funds from the Summer Camp music festival at Three Sisters Park to establish the Jay Goldberg Events and Entertainment’s Community Contribution Fund.

For each full price admission ticket sold, $1.50 went to the fund to directly benefit the City of Chillicothe.

The fund is expected to provide more than $30,000 directly to City of Chillicothe projects and groups.

After the festival ended, a committee was established by Jay Goldberg Events and Entertainment that consisted of local Chillicothe area residents to make recommendations on how the funds would be distributed.

The only limitations are that the funds must go to Chillicothe City entities or not-for-profit groups in the area that directly benefit the city.

The Summer Camp Community Contribution Fund committee can make recommendations for which groups the funds go to.

Applications for the funds will also be accepted by the committee until July 19.

Applications can be picked up at the Three Sisters Park offices during normal business hours or printed at threesisterspark.com.
