Six Chillicothe teenagers will compete for the title of Miss Chillicothe.

The pageant begins at 7 p.m. Saturday on City Stage.

Former Miss Chillicothe Amanda (Tyler) Schultz is organizing the event again this year.

The ladies will be judged on sportswear (casual wear outfit), talent, evening wear and a spontaneous question.

Each category has subcategories — confidence, poise, delivery of their answer to the question and content of answer, etc., according to Schultz.

Their talent is judged on their choice of talent, whether or not the contestant is good at their talent, and their outfit (is it appropriate for their talent).
