South School students proved they wanted to keep Principal Shaun Grant at school as they raised the largest bail money to date for Cuffs for a Cure — $552.62.
The Chillicothe Police Department wears pink shirts on certain days in October in preparation for the event. Each participant raised at least $100 bail money and was recognized at the IVC football game Friday night.
In total, 38 people were “cuffed,” raising $4,600 this year. This is the second year for the fundraiser, which has now raised a total of $8,400 for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
