Not everyone received candy on Halloween – Sara Nudd’s sixth-grade class at Mossville Grade School had a pizza party.
The class designed and made a display entitled, “Halloween Movie Night” in a school pumpkin competition.
The class display garnered $126.54 in the penny-per-vote contest.
The display had a decorated pumpkin on the “big screen” and an audience of decorated pumpkins. Each student in the class decorated a pumpkin in the display.
While Nudd’s class won the competition, there will be more winners — all proceeds from the Mossville School fundraiser will be donated to the Children’s Home “Wish List.”
The school raised more than $975 for the cause.
