Powerball drawing results for 9/29/21. No match to winning numbers, jackpot rises to $635M

The Powerball results are in for the Sept. 29 lottery jackpot drawing worth an estimated $570 million, with a cash option of $410.1 million.

The winning numbers for Wednesday night's drawing are 02, 07, 11, 17, 32, and the Powerball is 11. The Power Play was 3.

Five players matched all five numbers but missed the Powerball for a $1 million prize, with winning tickets sold in California, Florida, Indiana, New York and Wisconsin.

Three other tickets matched all five numbers without the Powerball while also having the Power Play option good for $2 million. Those winning tickets were sold in Michigan, Ohio and Oklahoma.

The Double Play numbers are 3, 19, 29, 50, 58 and the Powerball is 3. 

No one matched all six numbers for Wednesday night's Double Play drawing.

According to powerball.com, the jackpot for Saturday's drawing will climb to an estimated $635 million, with a $450 million cash option. The new Powerball jackpot will rank sixth all-time for the game and will come in at No. 10 on the nation's all-time top 10 lottery jackpots.

When was the last Powerball jackpot winner?

The last time someone won the Powerball jackpot was on June 5, 2021. A single winner from Florida claimed the $285.6 million prize.   

In fact, a single Florida winner also claimed the most recent Powerball jackpot prior to that. The winning ticket worth $235.4 million hit on Mar. 27, 2021.

The Powerball jackpot has been won a total of five times in 2021. The first win of the year was worth $731.1 million on Jan. 20, 2021, and was sold to a single winner in Maryland. The other two winners also came in January and were both single winners from New Jersey, claiming $23.2 million and $33.2 million, respectively.
