Wildlife Prairie Park host Easter Events

HANNA CITY, IL – Wildlife Prairie Park will host a weekend of Easter events on April 19 and 20.

Saturday  will be a day full of events including two Giant Easter Egg Hunts, an Eggstra Special Scavenger Hunt, and a Bunny Breakfast. Easter Sunday, April 20, 2014 will be the Park’s Easter Sunday Brunch.

The first Easter Egg Hunt will take place at 11:00 am at the Pioneer Homestead area of Wildlife Prairie Park. There will be a second hunt at 1:30 pm also at the Pioneer Homestead area. Thousands of eggs will be available to collect during both hunts with various treats inside.

General Admission will be required to attend the event. Members will receive a special discounted rate of $4 per person ages 2 and up. All children 1 year old and under are free.

The Eggstra Special Scavenger Hunt will begin at 8:00 am throughout the Park. Scavenger hunt sheets will be available at the Park’s front gate as well as the Visitor Center. All who complete the scavenger hunt will be entered into a drawing for a special prize. The drawing for the prize will take place at 3:10 p.m. outside of the Park’s Visitor Center.

Also on Saturday, Wildlife Prairie Park will host a Bunny Breakfast from 8-11 am.

The breakfast will consist of traditional hot breakfast delicacies and will be served buffet style. The cost is $9.95 for adults, $7.95 for children ages 3 to 12, and Free for children ages 2 and under. For a complete list of menu items, please visit www.wildlifeprairiepark.org. On Sunday, Wildlife Prairie Park will host the Easter Sunday Brunch from 10 to 2 p.m. The cost for adults is $21.95 and for children ages 3 to 12 $10.95. Ages 2 and under are free.
