Four students from Dunlap High School are part of the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy’s class of 2014.

Martin Bantchev, Taeyoung Kim, Nahee Park and Sankeerth Reddy are part of the 224 student class.

“The state of Illinois can be proud of IMSA’s reputation for providing talented students with a world-class education, one that is sought after by prospective students and their families,” Dr. Glenn McGee said.

The IMSA students that were invited have an average SAT mathematics score of 679, while their critical reading scores average 607.

“These students’ guidance counselors and teachers should be commended for helping and encouraging them to develop their mathematics and science abilities,” IMSA Principal Dr. Eric McLaren said.  “IMSA is committed to serving talented young students by immersing them in a program that ignites and nurtures creative, scientific minds that advance the human condition.”
