Dunlap volleyball handles Raiders on road

The Dunlap girls’ volleyball team took down East Peoria Sept. 20 in three sets.

The Eagles took the opening set behind the  15 kills of Erika Barber and the three blocks from Jaeden Barlow for the game.

East Peoria bounced back and won the second set, 26-24.

Dunlap won a close third set thanks to the game-high 31 assists from Elizabeth Finerty.

The team lost to Limestone at home Wednesday in three sets.

Jamie Nichting’s game high eight kills helped the Eagles win the opening set, 25-20, but the Rockets bounced back and tied the game by winning the second set, 25-19.

In the third set, Limestone pulled away to win, 25-11.
