The Dunlap girls soccer team blew Canton out of the water on April 19.

In a game that was shortened seven minutes by lightning, the Eagles had 36 shots on goal as they went on to easily win, 8-0.

Canton was held to no shots.

Thursday, a hat trick by Cortney Allenbaugh helped Peoria Christian top Dunlap, 3-1.

All three of Peoria Christian’s goals came within the first 33 minutes of play. Meanwhile, Emily Griebel scored the loan goal for the Eagles (3-6-1) in the 40th minute.

On Saturday, Metamora was able to stop Dunlap from scoring eight goals, but still fell to the Eagles, 1-0.

The lone scorer was Emily Griebel, who scored at 30:57. Dunlap only had three shots on goal, while Metamora managed four.

The Eagles faced East Peoria on Tuesday, and travel to the Charleston Tournament this weekend. The team will then travel to Limestone next Tuesday.
