After the first half on April 5, things did not look good for Dunlap’s girls soccer team.

Facing Washington, the Eagles were down 2-0. However, the team made a strong push in the second half, getting three goals in the second to win, 3-2.

Jordan Gunn started the scoring with an unassisted goal, with Erica Barber following it up with an unassisted goal of her own. Gunn also recorded the last goal for the team.

As a team, Dunlap had eight shots on goal, while keeping Washington to six.

On Thursday, the team had their last game ever at Miller Swamp before construction starts on the new soccer field. While the girls would have liked a strong finish on the field, Notre Dame had other plans, shutting them out, 4-0.

Dunlap finished with six shorts on goal, while Notre Dame had eight. Maddie Wolfe had four saves.

The Eagles have a home game Thursday against Pekin before going to Canton Tuesday.
