Richwoods ends girls tennis winning streak

The Dunlap Lady Eagles tennis team was unable to defeat Richwoods Wednesday.

The team was shorthanded, but played well.

Sophie Hoffman, Molly Mathes and Laura Algrain were able to come out with wins in singles, while Nahee Park, Alison Chen and Sophia Prager were defeated.

Both doubles that were completed, Hoffman and Mathes and Tara Keenan and Algrain, were defeated by Richwoods.

Park and Chen’s match was called off due to the onset of darkness.

The end score was Dunlap 3, Richwoods 5.

The team is playing in a Richwoods invite Saturday.
