Area chambers of commerce have teamed up to bring local senators, representatives and city council candidates to Central Illinois residents. The 23rd annual Heart of Illinois Legislative Reception is your chance to communicate this region's needs and concerns to our elected officials on issues that impact our businesses.
The Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce along with chambers from Chillicothe, Canton, East Peoria, Limestone, Morton, Pekin, and Washington invite residents to attend the event from 5 to 7 p.m. tonightat the Par-A-Dice hotel in East Peoria. It is sponsored by Hanson Professional Services and Architectural Design Group.
Included are State Rep. Dave Leitch and State Sen. Dale Risinger, both of whom represent the Chillicothe area.
The annual alumni banquet for Chillicothe Township High School and Illinois Valley Central High School is June 13 at IVC High School. New things being planned by committee since this is 100th Alumni Banquet year. Any reunion class or alumni wishing to attend may contact Anna Duckworth Wilkins at 274-4282 to make reservations. Banquet catered by Catering by Design's Shawn Crabel.
