Ward 4 candidate Jeff Rushin filed a withdrawal of candidacy notice Wednesday, according to Chillicothe City Clerk Sharon Crabel.

Rushin will not be listed on the ballot, which leaves incumbent Judy Cantwell running uncontested.

Running as a write-in candidate is Danny Colwell for Ward 2 alderman.

He joins newcomers Jettia Draper and Alex Block. The trio is running for Troy Childers Sr.'s seat, who is facing Gary Fyke for the mayor's seat.
