Until He Returns Prophetic Bible Studies, an independent and non-denominational organization committed to the study and proclamation of end-time Biblical prophecy, is sponsoring a class from 7-9 p.m. Oct. 21 at Cornerstone Baptist Church, located at 18040 Unsicker Road just outside of Morton.

This class is open to anyone who might be interested in hearing what the Bible tells about signs that can be looked for that indicate the end-times are near.

The speaker that evening will be Dr. J.B. Hixson, pastor of Groveland Missionary Church.

Hixson is well-known on a national level for his teaching of Bible prophecy.

He has more than 25 years of experience as a professor, pastor, author, and national conference speaker.

He is the author of the books “Getting the Gospel Wrong,” “The Gospel Unplugged,” “The Great Last Days of Deception,” is co-author of “What Lies Ahead: A Biblical Overview of the End Times,” and has authored numerous theological journal articles.

He earned his bachelor of arts from Houston Baptist University, master of theology degree from Dallas Theological Seminary, and doctorate from Baptist Bible Seminary.

During the first hour of the class, Hixson will be using the book of Daniel, chapter 9, as the focus of his lecture.

The second half of the class will be a sermon that he has entitled, “For Heaven’s Sake, What on Earth Are You Doing?”

No fees are required to take this class.

Containers will be provided for a free-will offering.
