Nickelodeon goes completely “dark” for three hours, turning off programming to encourage kids to get up, get out and go play!

Every year, WWDOP is celebrated with more than 5,000 local events in all 50 states and in 20 countries.

Prevention Educators from the CENTER for PREVENTION of ABUSE will be part of the Peoria Park District’s “Worldwide Day of Play.”

Please join us for a high energy Anti-Bullying Rally encouraging children to “Be a Buddy, Not a Bully!”

The event starts at noon Oct. 5 at Glen Oak Amphitheater in Glen Oak Park. The anti-bullying rally will feature music, skits and audience involvement.

If you have any questions about the upcoming events please contact Jeanne Anders at 691-0551.
