Colton Polhemus, Silas Israel and Titus Thompson each scored in double figures to help power the Tremont boys basketball team to a 58-51 victory over Farmington in the Class 2A Tremont Regional semifinals on Wednesday.

The third-seeded Turks (22-8) face No. 6 Quest (17-9) for the regional championship at 7 p.m. Friday.

Israel scored 12 points to lead Tremont, while Thompson added 11 and Polhemus dropped in 10. Tim Rice added nine points.

Jaden and Corbin Rutledge led the Farmers (21-9). Jaden scored a team-high 17 points, while Corbin added 13.

AT MONMOUTH-ROSEVILLE

Eureka ended its season with a 50-47 loss to host Monmouth-Roseville in the Class 2A regional semifinal.

The fourth-seeded Hornets (19-11) got 28 points from Keegan Zimmerman, who reached the 1,000th point mark for his career and broke the single-season scoring record which was held by John Phelps.

Jamonny Skinner scored 16 points to lead the No. 7 Titans, while Rylan Heinrich added 14 points.

Monmouth-Roseville will face top-seeded Warsaw West Hancock in the regional championship at 7 p.m. Friday.

Class 1A

AT PRINCEVILLE

Princeville had three players score in double figures to earn a 63-48 regional semifinal win over ROWVA/Williamsfield.

The No. 4 seed Princes (24-7) will take on top-seeded Ottawa Marquette in Friday's regional championship at 7 p.m.

Cole Daily scored 20 points to lead Princeville, while Cody Thole added 18 points and Justin Janssen had 15 points.

AT MONMOUTH UNITED

Elmwood cruised to a 58-36 regional semifinal victory over United.

The top-seeded Trojans (25-2) had another strong showing from Charlie McKinty. McKinty finished with 19 points, nine rebounds and five steals.

Elmwood will face No. 5 seed Abingdon-Avon for the regional championship at 7 p.m. Friday.
