Illinois Valley Central played quite the volleyball hosts to St. Joseph-Ogden.
IVC raised $3,658.85 in support of St. Joseph-Ogden junior Anna Wentzloff during its three Illini Prairie Conference matches on Oct. 6.
Wentzloff was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma on Aug. 30. The three-sport athlete — volleyball, basketball and track — is currently receiving treatment at the St. Jude Midwest Affiliate/Children's Hospital of Illinois in Peoria.
All proceeds from the Ghosts' 50/50 raffle, bake sale, volleyball camp raffle, gift card basket raffle and lemon shake-ups were donated to the Wentzloff family. SJ-O won the varsity match, 25-12, 25-19.
