Marilee Hiett obituary 2021

Marilee Eleanor Hiett, age 76, of Chillicothe passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021, at UnityPoint Health Proctor in Peoria.

Marilee was born on April 16, 1944, in Peoria, IL, to Robert and Marian (Leas) Farwell.  She married Ronald G. Hiett in 1980.

Surviving are her husband, Ronald; her children, Juli (Dr. David) Baskin of Houston, TX, Eric (Susan) Millard of Washburn, IL, Jason (Terri) Millard of North Carolina and Dustin (Courtney) Hiett of Colorado; her grandchildren, Travis, Danielle, Alexandra, Brianna, Spencer and Logan; her sister-in-law, Janet Farwell of Peoria, IL; and her nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brothers, Chet and Ronnie Farwell.

Marilee was dedicated to raising her family and caring for the children of her daycare.  She loved cats, especially Siamese cats, and going dancing on Saturday nights at The Hub.

A private graveside service will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021, at Chillicothe City Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. 

Memorials in Marilee’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
