Chillicothe - Douglas L. Butler, 72, of Chillicothe passed away peacefully at his home onTuesday, October 26, 2021
Doug was born February 28, 1949, in Peoria to Warren and Esther (Kelly) Butler whom proceed him in death. Also his son, Dustin Butler and sister, Deborah (Butler) Ikemire.
He is survived by his son, Dylan Butler,
Tera (Eric) Wilson, Harley (Jessica) Davis & grandchildren, Jaycie, Aubry, Emma, Star and Kaydence. His devoted girlfriend, Terry Davis and brother, Dean Shehorn.
Douglas served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and retired from the City of Chillicothe Public Works. He loved art, painting, gardening, baking, camping, and riding his motorcycle. He had a wonderful love for life!
Cremation rites will be accorded and a celebration of life will be at a later date. Memorials may be made to the National Veterans Art Museum @ NVAM.org
