Richard “Dick” Eugene Bradley, 88, of Chillicothe passed away at 3:38 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2018, at Unity Point Methodist Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 28, 1929, in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Merle and Mildred Collins Bradley. He married Patricia Cranford on Dec. 12, 1954. She preceded him in death in 2012.
Richard is survived by one daughter, Erin Harris of Washington; one son, Kyle (Sandee) Bradley of Bartonville; seven grandchildren, Megan Harris, Amanda Harris, Shyann Harris, Ryan Bradley, Tyler Bradley, Adam Bradley and Tanner Bradley; one great-grandchild, Yoona Harris; one brother, Jack (Mary) Bradley of Chillicothe; and one sister, Betty Smith of Chillicothe.
He was also preceded in death by his parents and son-in-law Tom Harris of Washington.
Richard was a conductor on the TP&W-Santa Fe Railroad until his retirement in 1981.
He was a Navy Veteran serving on the USS Eversole during the Korean War.
Richard was a lifetime member of First United Methodist Church and Charter Member of Pearce Community Center in Chillicothe.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Schmidt-Haller Burial and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorials made be made to First United Methodist Church of Chillicothe.
