PEORIA — The largest 4th of July fireworks celebration in Illinois will again take place on the Peoria and East Peoria riverfronts on Wednesday. This will be the 32nd year of UnityPoint Health Red, White, & Boom, brought home by Adam Merrick Real Estate.

Alpha Media and its seven radio stations put on the event each year in conjunction with the Peoria Park District and is supported by numerous community-minded sponsors. Senior Vice President & Market Manager, Mike Wild, commented on the upcoming event, stating “We look forward to it every year. It’s certainly something we pour a lot of effort and energy into, and a lot of heart into this show. It’s a big part of what we do; we love giving back to the community by putting on this Fireworks Show, along with all of our Sponsors.”

“We are proud to sponsor Red, White, and Boom. The slow pace of summer days means more time spent with loved ones. Red, White, and Boom is a great opportunity to share our national holiday with family and friends while also encouraging a sense of community with all of greater Peoria coming together as one for this spectacular occasion and holiday.” remarked Debbie Simon, UnityPoint Health Regional CEO.

The event is open to everyone and is free of charge, although there is a Public VIP Party offering a private, fenced-in viewing area where guests can bring chairs. Tickets to the Public VIP Party are $20, and food, soda, water, beer and wine will be available for purchase from a separate vendor inside the VIP Party, plus the VIP Party includes live music and face painting. Tickets can be purchased at
