Daniel “Dan” M. Draper, 48, of 519 N. Fifth St., died at 1:16 a.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2008, at his home.
Born June 13, 1959, to Theodore R. and Maribel A. Dunlap Draper, he married Traci Morse May 22, 1993, in Peoria. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Tyler and Joshua Draper of Chillicothe; his mother, Maribel A. Draper of Edelstein; four brothers, Dennis (Delaine) Draper and Joe Draper, both of Peoria, Ron Draper of Princeville and Jim (Lisa) Draper of Lenexa, Kan.; and two sisters, Diane (John) Reid of Edelstein and Jeanne McMullen of Yates City.
He was preceded in death by his father on April 10, 2007.
He worked in the printing business for 30 years, working for National Posters, Peoria Journal Star, International Paper and Custom Graphics in Bartonville.
He was an American Red Cross donor.
He was a member of St. Jude’s Catholic Church of Peoria.
A funeral mass was Monday at his church. Father Anthony Lee officiated. Visitation was Sunday at the church, with recitation of the rosary. Cremation followed services.
Memorials may be made to a benefit account for his sons at CEFCU, the Trust in Hope Foundation at Illinois Cancer Care, Rescue 33, OSF Hospice or his church.
