CJH eighth graders gallop to Regional win

The undefeated Chillicothe Junior High eighth grade volleyball team added another win to their season as well as a Regional championship tonight by beating Dunlap Valley in two games at home.

Behind the strong net play of Brooke Ratcliff, CJH was able to ward off Dunlap Valley after a late push to win the first game, 25-14.

The Lady Mustangs and Dunlap Valley traded leads throughout the early goings in the second game but, behind the passing and serving of Erika Koch and the defense of DeLaney Coats, CJH pulled away to win, 25-13.

The Mustangs next play at 6 p.m. Monday at Dunlap Middle School for the Sectional.
