The Ghosts started the game hot and, behind two three-pointers from Senior Keegan Horack, built a 16-14 lead at the end of the first quarter.
The teams traded shots and tied scores to start the second, but junior Brock Adcock's ability to drive the ball to the hoop gave IVC a 37-24 lead at halftime.
The Ghosts came out flat in the third quarter and scored only two points, which came on free throws from junior Alex Koch.
Princeton cut into the lead and was trailing, 39-37, heading into the final quarter.
The Tigers overtook IVC early in the fourth quarter, but the Ghosts clawed back to within 46-45 with under a minute left.
Princeton scored one more basket in the final minute and IVC was unable to answer with one of their own.
The Ghosts next play at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Canton.
