STREATOR — Tremont scored early and cruised to a 41-0 victory over host Flanagan-Cornell co-op on Friday night at Woodland High.

The Turks (4-4, 2-2) kept their playoff hopes alive heading into next Friday's home Heart of Illinois small-division game against Heyworth. Caiden Buster ran for three touchdowns and caught another in the running-clock victory.

Buster's scores came from five yards out along with a pair of one-yard TDs for the Turks, who had 266 total yards. His TD reception came on a 25-yard strike from Nate Nguyen.

Nguyen added a nine-yard TD run at the 5:48 mark of the third quarter, making it a 34-0 game.

The F-C co-op, which also features Roanoke-Benson and Streator Woodland, suffered its 27th loss in a row.
