Helga Quinn, 76, of Chillicothe died on Sunday, Aug. 22, 2010, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Born Oct. 1, 1933, in Kirn, Germany, to Robert and Karoline (Pick) Schiel, she married Clarence W. Quinn on June 10, 1960, in Kirn. He preceded her in death.
Also preceding her in death were two sons, Randy and Michael Quinn.
Surviving are one son, Fred Quinn of Chillicothe; brothers and sisters; Ingeborg Landon of Norfok, Va., Robert Schiel of Germany, Christa Novotny of Germany, Karin Hulse of Jacksonville, Fla., Jurgen Schiel, Manuela Muller, Achim Sheiel, Marion Schiel and Michael Schiel all of Germany; and four grandchildren.
She was a cook for Illinois Valley Central for 21 years.
She was a member of the Red Hat Society of Chillicothe.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe. The Rev. Raymond Harrison will officiate. Burial will be in the Chillicothe City Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5-7 p.m. Thursday.
