Eleanor (Toodles) Donath, 76, of Metamora, formerly of Chillicothe died at 11:55 p.m. Feb. 22, 2010 at Snyder Village in Metamora.

Born Aug. 19, 1933 in Philippi, West Virginia to Aldine D. and Elizabeth (Shoemaker) Poling, she married Jack L. Donath on July 1, 1953, in Philippi. He died March 29, 2005. 

Surviving are two daughters, Cathy Foster of East Peoria, and Carol and (Jeff) Bond of Washburn and two sons, Robert Donath and John (Cheryl) Donath both of Chillicothe.

Also surviving are one sister, Mary Poling of Spartansburg, SC, two brothers, Aldine Poling of Ft. Meyers, FL and Robert J. Poling of LaPlatoa, Md., five grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.

She was a member of Eastern Star, Princeville Lodge and Blue Ridge United Methodist Church. 

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, at Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe. A service of committal will follow at noon  with private family burial at Blue Ridge Cemetery in rural Chillicothe. The Rev. Michael Robinson will officiate.

Memorials may be made to her church.
