Lucille Menold, 89, of Dunlap died at 9:10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012, at her home.
Born March 30, 1922, in Mackinaw to Joseph and Wilhelmina (Sinn) Weishaupt, she married William “Bill” Menold on June 16, 1946, at the Mackinaw Christian Church. He died April 6, 2003.
Also preceding her in death were one son, Duane; one grandson; one great-granddaughter; two sons-in-law, Kevin Gray and Dale Zimmerman; and two brothers, Robert, Herbert and Donald Weishaupt.
Surviving are six children, Carol (Jerry) Zimmerman Turner of Pontiac, Bill Menold Jr. of Dunlap, David (Elena) Menold of Dunlap, Mary Beth (Brian) Elsasser of Princeville, Suzanne (Scot) Yezek of Peoria Heights and Christine (James) Coventry of Dunlap; 16 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Rose Wettstein of Eureka, Viola Augsburger of Chatsworth and Elsie Goeken of Delavan; and two brothers, Karlie (Jane) Weishaupt of Mackinaw and
Joe (Margaret) Weishaupt Jr. of Fort Meade, Fla.
She graduated from Mackinaw High School and worked at the Mackinaw Bank and then for the Erkert family in Peoria.
Funeral services were Tuesday at Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 140 S. Detroit Ave., Morton, with visitation prior. Burial was at Morton Apostolic Christian Church Cemetery.
