John Michael Cox, 41, of Chillicothe, died Monday, Jan. 11, 2010, at his residence.
He was born Dec. 10, 1968, in Peoria, the son of Arthur and Elizabeth Cox.
He worked at Calihan & Co. in Peoria for seven years, last working Friday, January 7.
He graduated from Illinois Valley Central High School.
Surviving are his parents, Art and Mary Cox of Chillicothe; sister, Royce (Dennis) Clark of Elmwood; and two brothers, Bryan of Valdosta, Georgia and Brad (Phoenix) of Geneseo.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe. The Rev. Ray Harrison will officiate. Burial will be in the Chillicothe City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
