Stephen D. Melvin, 68, longtime resident of the Chillicothe/Peoria area, died Friday, June 25, 2010, at Morton Terrace.
Preceding him in death were his mother, Vesta Melvin; father, James Melvin; and one infant brother.
Surviving are one son, Christopher Melvin of Arizona, two granddaughters; and one sister, Marcia (Tom) LaVelle.
Cremation has been accorded and a gathering of remembrance for family and friends will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday at Grecian Gardens.
The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co. Pekin/Peoria is assisting the family with arrangements.
