Nancy Martin Voss, 65, of Chillicothe, Ill., passed away peacefully Jan. 16, 2010, at her home, in the presence of her family.
Born Sept. 28, 1944 in Peoria to Norris and Bernice (Landwehr) Martin, she married Ronald R. Voss on March 27, 1965. He survives.
Also surviving are: a son, Ryan J. Voss of Chillicothe; a brother, Dennis (Wendy) Martin of East Peoria; and two nieces, Natalie Wendelin of Pekin and Leslie Martin of Normal.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
Nancy was a paralegal clerk for Caterpillar, retiring after 34 years of service.
Nancy loved to travel with her husband Ron, especially Harley-Davidson sightseeing trips.
She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and had a special place in her heart for dogs and other animals.
Nancy had a quick wit and a great sense of humor; most of all she just wanted the best for everyone.
A memorial service will be held 6 p.m. Thursday at Davison-Fulton Anderson Chapel in Chillicothe. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Cremation rites will be accorded, with interment of cremains at a later date.
