Shirley J. Flinner, 74, of Chillicothe, died at 4:23 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2010, at her residence.
Born Feb. 13, 1935, in Henry to Orla and Arleene (Ryan) Stotler, she married Donald Flinner on Aug. 7, 1954, in Camp Grove. He survives.
Surviving are one son, Steven (Karen) Flinner of St. Louis, Mo.; two daughters, Diana Kelly of Peoria and Debbie (Steve) Reginald of Chillicothe, 11 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sisters; Donna (Ed) Flesburg of Peoria and Dorothy Tuttle of Henry.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Regina Smith and one sister, Celestine Shearer.
She worked for OSF St. Francis Medical Center for 29 years retiring in 2002.
She was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church in Chillicothe.
Cremation rites will be accorded and a memorial Mass will be at St. Edward Catholic Church at 10: 30 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Glenn H. Harris will officiate. Private family committal will be held at Blue Ridge Cemetery, rural Chillicothe. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Sunday at Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe with recitation of the rosary at 7 p.m.
