Question: How long has the bonfire been a part of the IVC Homecoming tradition?

The annual IVC bonfire is ready to be lit tonight, thanks to volunteers making it this morning. (See photo at left.) Whoever is crowned king and queen tonight at Skit Night will have the honors of lighting it.

My question for the day is, how long has the bonfire been a tradition at IVC? Anyone know?
