More than a two week hiatus did not slow the Dunlap swim team down on Jan. 3.
The Eagles swept the board against Pontiac, winning the meet, 152-27.
The meet started with the 200 medley relay team of Ethan Walenta, Michael Plantamura, Peter Windsor and Daniel Plantamura winning in 1 minute, 51.50 seconds.
That was followed up by Nathan Eppel taking the 200 freestyle in 2:01.32 and John Lang winning the 200 IM in 2:18.20.
Dunlap continued the streak when Andy Cooper won the 50 free in :24.01 before Patrick Nichting won the diving portion with 170.15 points.
After the break, Walenta took the 100 fly in 1:00.60, Will Chi took the 100 freestyle in :53.83 and Michael Plantamura won the 500 freestyle in 5:23.29.
The 200 freestyle relay team of Chi, Eppel, John Lang and Cooper then took first in 1:35.60. Chi followed that up with a win in the 100 backstroke in 1:02.64, before Cary Zhu won the 100 breaststroke in 1:06.40.
The 400 freestyle relay team of Lang, Cooper, Chi and Eppel finished the meet with a win in 3:36.87.
On Saturday, the team took second at the Charger Invitational in Champaign.
Dunlap finished with 322 points, 106 points behind first-place Normal U-High.
Getting top three finishes for the Eagles were Walenta in the 100 backstroke and the 400 relay team. Both finished in third place.
The Eagles next swim Thursday at Sacred Heart-Griffin High School before facing Galesburg Tuesday at home.
