After a strong first half, the Eagles girls basketball team never looked back on the way to a 45-27 win over East Peoria on Friday.
Dunlap (7-9, 3-3) started off the first quarter with a 12-8 advantage before holding East Peoria (4-12, 2-3) to only three points in the second quarter.
Dunlap, meanwhile, doubled its point total.
While the Eagles increased its lead by two in the third quarter, the team added another 12 points in the fourth to close the game out.
Liz Zoz scored a game-high 14 points for the Eagles, while Lexi Hobbs added 10 points.
Morgan Erickson chipped in six points.
Before the varsity game, the Raiders topped the Eagles in the sophomore matchup.
The Eagles travel to IVC at 7 p.m. Thursday before getting a week off.
