Chillicothe-area parents may want to drop by Riverside Chevrolet Saturday to pick up information about keeping their children safe.
Endorsed by John Walsh, the DNA LifePrint Child Safety program gives parents what they need in case their child is missing.
Those items include an FBI-certified Biometric 10-digit fingerprint profile, a color digital photograph of the child, a child safety journal which includes all the necessary information and a home DNA identification kit.
All of items listed above go home with the parents and are not kept by others.
Chillicothe safety officials will be on hand at the event, which runs from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the dealership, 200 S. Plaza Drive.
Chillicothe police and fire officials will be on hand for the event along with giveaways for the children. Visit chillicothepd.org for more information.
