Need a holiday gift with hometown flair?
The Illinois Valley Central High School Vocal Music Department Boosters are selling Grey Ghost holiday ornaments.
The ornament is $10 and available at a number of Chillicothe businesses. It is also available for sale in the IVC High School office.
Proceeds from the ornament sale will be used for the IVC Choir’s trip to New York. Vocal Music Department director Angie Dorough said the proceeds will also be used to help purchase a portable sound system.
“Right now we have to beg, borrow or rent a sound system whenever we want to perform outside the auditorium. A sound system will open up a whole new world of performance opportunities for us,” Dorough explained.
