No matter what the score of the Holly Volleyball Game on Dec. 19, Community Needs Agency will be the winner.

The game pits the staff of Chillicothe Elementary Center and South School against the staff of Mossville School. IVC
District grade and elementary schools will meet on neutral turf — the IVC High School gymnasium at 6 p.m. Dec. 19.

Organized by the CEC Leadership Team, the Holly Volleyball Game will benefit Community Needs Agency with its ongoing efforts to help the less fortunate in the Chillicothe area. The team members say they hope the game will be the first of what will become an annual community service event.

CEC principal Todd Dugan said it will be a “friendly, yet competitive volleyball game.”

It won’t be difficult to see who fans are rooting for at the Holly Volleyball Game. The students and staff had the opportunity to purchase T-shirts in their school colors of red for CEC and green for Mossville last week.

Admission to the game is a non-perishable food item. A 50/50 raffle will be also be a part of the evening. All proceeds from the T-shirts and raffle, as well as the canned goods, will be donated to CNA.
