Former Mossville teacher dies

Former Mossville Grade School teacher Dan Swille died Wednesday.

A memorial service will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Assembly of God Activity Center in Minier.

He is remembered by many as a sixth-grade teacher and girls basketball coach.

At his retirement party a few years ago at Bailey's Pub, he got the call for a liver transplant. He moved to Atlanta, Ill., to be near his family.
