The Illinois Valley Central Learning Center was officially welcomed into downtown Chillicothe on Wednesday, Nov. 29.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony held by the Chamber of Commerce greeted visitors before they had the opportunity to tour the new Learning Center. Over 125 people made their way through the open house from 3 to 5 p.m.
Along with the ribbon cutting, Chillicothe Mayor Don White presented IVC District Superintendent Dr. Chad Allison with a key to the city.
Visitors had the chance to see the newly renovated building, ask questions and enjoy snacks from Triple Dipple, Happy Thought and Di’s.
IVC District 321 is grateful to be able to offer the Learning Center to the community and to have a permanent home in downtown Chillicothe.
