BALD EAGLE DAY on Saturday, Jan. 7, at Wildlife Prairie Park with activities running from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. and the Park trails being open from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Start off the morning by grabbing a scavenger hunt form on your way into the facility and enter to win a prize basket upon completion. Raptor displays can be viewed in Forest Hall from 11 a.m.-3p.m. Join Park staff at 11:15 a.m. or 1 p.m. to see a raptor program in Forest Hall as well. See if you can spot all the native Illinois bird species during a birder walk through the trails taking place at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Please meet outside the Visitor Center. Wildlife Prairie Park is open year round. Daily admission rates apply. $8 for adults and $5 for children ages 3-12. Children ages 2 and under are free. Wildlife Prairie Park offers a yearly membership pass as well. Memberships start at just $55 for an individual and will grant you full access to the Bald Eagle Day activities.
