Red-carpet affair to open renovated Town Theatre:
It may not have been the Academy Awards, but the Chillicothe Optimist Club highlighted its work to the inside of Town Theatre by hosting a party outside. “Celebrities,” or those who supported the club in its renovations, waited for vehicles to take them from the Chillicothe Fire Department to Town Theatre. Above, Christine Zak, one of the announcers interviewing those walking the red carpet, speaks with Rusty Richards, youth pastor at Chillicothe Christian Church. Youth groups will be awarded the profits of the business according to how many ticket stubs each youth organization collects.
