CJH seventh-grade volleyball to play at State

The seventh-grade Chillicothe Junior High volleyball team is headed to State.

The girls started the Peru Parkside Regional with a 25-17, 25-12 victory over Dunlap Valley Middle School and won the Regional on a 25-12, 28-26 victory over Peru Parkside.

The team beat Eureka, 25-19, 25-13 in the Wenona Fieldcrest Sectional Monday to earn the trip to State.

CJH will play at 10 a.m. Saturday at Assumption Central against Pleasant Plains in the first round of State.
